A Bed

Suddenly, I started to feel a chest ache the ache of missing someone.

This time, the “someone” is not a fleshy  human being ; it is a moment when I was a little girl, happily sharing my bed with my three- and four-seconds-older siblings.

The middle seat of the king-sized bed was always reserved for the youngest, while the two corners were claimed by the so-called elder brother and sister.

I always acted like a spooky, panicked creature who depended on them and was protected by them.

In the middle of the night, whenever I felt unsettled by the invisible, I would reach out to touch both of them—still sleepy—just to feel safe. And the magic worked: one touch, and I would fall asleep again.

I realized how precious it was to simply sleep next to your siblings.

Sharing a bed.

The memories,chaos,comfort,warmth, safety, love,fights,peace .

I call it life .

But we part ways to make our own lives.

If you try to escape from something, it will only chase you harder. Therefore, it’s best to face it head-on. Initially, you may experience discomfort, but with time, it will fade away. You’ll start to feel better and return to your normal life.

When you confront your weaknesses, they can become your strengths. Interestingly, crying is a sign of emotional stability, not weakness. Don’t try to hide your emotions; instead, let them out. Cry as hard as you need to – it will help you feel better.

Through this process, you’ll discover a newfound sense of self.
